during August, September and October

He and his wife, Rev. Dr. Gwen Collins, Minister of Trinity
United Reformed Church, High Wycombe, visited the United
Church in Papua New Guinea, where they worked 1974-1990

The United Church in Papua New Guinea was formed in 1968 from churches of Methodist and Congregational background
It is a member of the Papua New Guinea Council of Churches

The 2000 Census of Papua New Guinea shows that Christians numbered 4,934,098 in a population of 5,140,476
