Exploring Spirituality in the Reformed Tradition

18/06/2012 - 21/06/2012

Westminster College, Cambridge

An ecumenical opportunity organised by Westminster College and the URC Retreat Group

Reformed Spirituality

One of the key themes in the Reformed tradition is what happens when people meet to encounter God, directly and in each other — notably in worship and in councils of the church. This underpins the many different ways of prayer found in the tradition.

Speakers:

  • Rev. Dr. David Cornick  on spirituality in the Reformed tradition  -  He is author of "Letting God by God: the Reformed Tradition" in Traditions of Christian Spirituality Series, Darton, Longman & Todd, 2008.  Currently he is General Secretary of Churches Together in England
  • Rev. Sarah Moore   on the connection between pastoral care and spiritual direction  -  She is minister of Darwen Ecumenical Partnership

Further exploration
through worship, prayer, silence and discussion
